I am Back

I know it’s been a while since I’ve (#blogger #blog #somseason #YA #authors) blogged, but between taking time off to camp in nature, recovering from a medical procedure, and needing a break from this crazy world, I haven’t written anything for awhile. Time to change that.

A sister-in-law of mine recently got around to reading my book, A Shattered New Start, and she mentioned to one of my family members that she felt the book was really my story. I’ve been thinking a lot about that, and she is right. Yes, the book is based on many of my experiences as a school teacher, but I’ve come to realize that it is my story too. I was bullied (#bullying, #antibullying) as a child, laughed at and teased for being sensitive and different. At times, I was the bully. I especially remember a student who was bullied every day on the bus to our high school. I sometimes participated in that bullying and I always felt bad afterwards, especially for her. She did nothing to warrant it. So, my sister-in-law is right.

Bullying is awful, yet it is condoned by our culture. Everywhere you look, there is bullying, and it has always been that way. Television is full of it. As a kid I grew up watching cartoons on Saturday mornings. I remember watching Popeye the Sailor. The Bugs Bunny Show, and The Flintstones. Bullying was rampant in those cartoons, but as a kid, I didn’t see as bullying. They were just funny cartoons.

In Popeye the Sailor, there was always a villain. Typically, it was Bluto who made moves on Olive Oyl, Popeye’s girl. Bluto always bullied Popeye, usually by clobbering him, until Popeye eats a can of spinach giving him the superhuman strength to clobber his villain. In the Bugs Bunny Show, Bugs is characterized as clever and capable of outsmarting any bully. The bullies I most remember are Elmer Fudd, Tasmanian Devil, Coyote, and Daffy Duck. Bugs usually tried to avoid conflict by pacifying his bullies but when pushed too far, Bugs would use his catchphrase “This means war!” before retaliating in some manner. The Flintstones was characteristic of feuding between Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble who went back and forth bullying each other.

Bullying was prevalent in other shows as well. My siblings and I always watched Gilligan’s Island, a show about seven people stranded on an uncharted island following a torrential storm. The captain was always hitting his shipmate, Gilligan, with his hat and criticizing him for doing something stupid. One of my favourite shows as a kid was Lost in Space, a story about a space colony family who struggled to survive when the stowaway, Dr. Smith, threw their ship off course. Dr. Smith was a notorious bully, always sabotaging the Robison Family’s attempts to get back to Earth.

Today is no different, in fact, the bullying on television is worse today. On television, bullying is normalized as being acceptable and typical. I could write several blogs on this subject but my point is, bullying has always been portrayed as normal and acceptable on television.

Observing the world for the past months, I’ve witnessed inexcusable bullying by our politicians, mainstream media (MM), and health officials. It makes me wonder if these people were bullies as children, but more on that later.

In Canada, the Public Order Emergency Commission’s public hearing has completed . This was a commission looking into the federal government’s—more specifically Trudeau’s—use of the Emergencies Act to bring last winter’s ‘Freedom Convoy’ protests to an end. ‘There was no justification whatsoever to invoke the Emergencies Act,’ said a lawyer , and there appears to be no credible evidence to justify Trudeau’s claimed emergency. When a leader declares an emergency when there is no emergency, that person is a bully. The article, How the Bullying Tactics Politicians Use Affect Kids, says, “most of the bullying tactics that politicians use are the very same ones that middle school and high school students use,” listing: blame-shifting, name calling, reputation bashing, rumour spreading, and ushering obscure threats as methods used. Trudeau uses all these tactics as seen in this video, and then lies about it while on the stand during the commission hearings. Don’t believe me, have a watch.

Alberta’s new premier Danielle Smith calls the unvaccinated ‘most discriminated-against group’ in her lifetime. That provoked a Media Party taking aim at Danielle Smith over comments about unvaccinated residents. The Alberta premier has also apologized to unvaccinated citizens, and even considers dropping all lockdown prosecutions. When I tried to find articles about her apology in the MM, virtually nothing came up. Is MM trying to cover her apology up? Seems so. That is censorship! When MM attacks, they are bullying. She should be applauded for apologizing to a group of people who were indeed bullied via discrimination and segregation, just like the Indigenous people, Jews during Nazi times, and others were.

Mainstream Media and politicians told us the COVID shots protected against transmission, now saying they didn’t say that. This video is proof they did.

Yet, Pfizer did not know whether Covid vaccine stopped transmission before rollout, executive admits; saying that vaccines were never tested for transmission. Have a listen to the Pfizer executive in article’s video. Moderna CEO Now Admits COVID-19 is Like Seasonal Flu . That means we’ve been lied to. Lying is an element of bullying, as it enhances a bully’s power and influence. Spreading lies is used by bullies with the goal to socially alienate those being bullied. Since we were lied to, which caused social isolation of the unvaccinated, that mean the MM and politicians were bullying. This is why Canadians’ trust in the legacy media reaches a new low: report, and Americans’ Trust In Media Remains Near Record Low

Maclean’s Magazine in 1983 had an article entitled, Once a bully, always a bully. I’ve never believed that and I wrote my book, A Shattered New Start, with that premise in mind. Earlier I mentioned that I wondered if people who bully were bullies as children. Dan Pearce, who wrote the book, Single Dad Laughing, says: “People who love themselves, don’t hurt other people. The more we hate ourselves, the more we want others to suffer.” That is exactly right! In other words, “Hurting people hurt people,” or “Hurt People Hurt People, and Healed People Heal People.” I believe bullies can change. Heal the hurt, and you heal the bully. That is what happens to the bully in my book. When I started planning my story, it is was going to be a story solely focused on the victim, Jonathan, but that is not how it turned out. Donovan, a Scottish musician, once said, “Sometimes the songs just come to me. I don’t sit down to write like you’d sit down to make a pair of boots.” The same is true for writing. When I finished my story, it turned out to be a story mostly about the transformation of the bully, Ryan, surprising even me.

Bullies can be changed, and I witnessed that as a teacher. Is it too late for many? Probably. As Dan Pearce suggested, bullies don’t love themselves, so they want others to suffer along with them. The ancient Roman poet Virgil who lived long before Jesus walked the earth said, “Love conquers all things.”

Everything in this universe has its own vibrational frequency. All humans, animals, plants, and all non-living things are vibrating at their own frequency. Albert Einstein said this, saying, “Everything is energy. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy. This is physics.” Love is said to be the highest vibration of all. If that is true, which I believe it is, then love can transform any bully. The bully in my book experienced trauma in his home life, and trauma has a low vibration. It is connected to emotions like fear, panic, anger, sadness, and so on. Those emotions vibrate at a low frequency. If you change the vibration to a higher vibration; to emotions like gratitude, joy, and love, then the bully transforms.

The highest vibration is unconditional love. The bully in my story is transformed because his school community had people who loved him unconditionally which raised his vibration. I wasn’t consciously thinking this when I wrote the book, but it is how Ryan, my bully character, changed. Author J. Andrew Herbert says, “Everything in life is choice.” Ryan’s transformation happened because Ryan chose to change. A bully has to want to change. Ryan was hurt, was open to changing, and love healed him. There is hope for the bullies of the world, but are they willing to change?

Truth Always Prevails

Author Ulpian Fulwell wrote, “Truth in the end shall prevail.” I (#blogger #blog #somseason #YA #authors) believe that. The problem is, what is truth? There are those who say truth is ever changing, never static or absolute, and what we consider to be truth today may be proven a lie tomorrow. There are those who claim that at least some truth is absolute truth, or some truths are universal and unalterable. I think both are true depending on the truth, but it can be confusing. For me personally, I trust my heart. If it feels true, I accept that. If it feels false, I accept that too. In other words, I follow my intuition.

Author Llewellyn Rockwell once wrote, “We like to imagine that in history, truth will prevail through sheer persuasive power. Sadly, this is not the case. Truth needs champions …” Truth does need champions (sometimes referred to as ‘truthers’) as we humans are easily manipulated, programmed and mind controlled. Joseph Goebbels, a German Nazi politician who became Reich Minister of Propaganda, once said:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

That is a frightening thought. Could this be happening? Are truths being told really lies? For this post, when I speak of truth, I am referring to the ever changing “truths” told to us by our politicians, the mainstream media (MSM) and health officials. Let’s start with politicians.

Canada’s Parliament drops investigation into woman who stood on War Memorial tomb, a committee investigation into a highly publicized incident of a woman who allegedly climbed atop the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier during the Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa. Funny how no reason was provided for discontinuing the committee hearings. Was the story a lie? Was it an attempt to discredit the protesters? That’s my guess. Trudeau’s national security adviser says Freedom Convoy planned to ‘overthrow the government’, another lie since the Freedom Convoy’s spokesperson stated on Fox News that “We want to get rid of the vaccine mandates and the (vaccine) passports. And that passport, that’s the really concerning one” (see Independent). Even MSM’s, The Globe and Mail says, Trudeau and Ford’s use of emergency legislation was pure show business. Actress Felicity Kendal says, “There is one sure way of telling when politicians aren’t telling the truth – their lips move.” That says it all.

What about the health officials? Are they telling truths? Alberta Health admits they manipulated ICU numbers. The CDC admits COVID-19 isn’t a threat to the vast majority of people. CDC Scientists admit they did manipulate study data to show the Covid-19 Vaccines are safe for Pregnant Women. This was an obvious attempt to mislead as researchers discover 91% of pregnancies resulted in miscarriage following Covid-19 Vaccination. Health Officials Admit COVID Numbers Were Inflated As They Cover Up Vaccine Injuries, and a Fired ER Doctor Tells RFK, Jr. ‘We Just Bowed Down’ Instead of Practicing Science. A Nurse claims Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s COVID-19 vaccination was faked, points out red flags. Watch her video. It seems we are being deceived by health officials.

Even MSM, especially Canada’s National Broadcaster, admit to lying. MSM’s Toronto Sun says More falsehoods about the convoy are now being retracted. CBC issues second retraction on their convoy coverage, retracting the story by the CBC that foreigners—the Russians—had played a major role in the Freedom Convoy protest, and that the Convoy protest received hundreds of donations that appeared to be from abroad. Both stories were blatant lies. Here are 5 Ways The Establishment—aka MSM—Tried To Rewrite The History Of Freedom Convoy 2022. The MSM protects politicians as Canadian Media Cover-Up International Condemnation Of Justin Trudeau. Regarding the alleged pandemic, the CBC apologizes for using fake patients and training facility in COVID-19 story, another lie. The CBC forced to pay $1.95 million in libel case as court finds it “failed in its duty to be fair, balanced and responsible,” as reported by the CBC. This explains why CBC viewership hits record lows as subsidies hit record highs, The CBC’s ad revenue problem continues, and why the CBC wants to know why young people aren’t watching their programs. People are even leaving as CBC producer quits, slams woke broadcaster for failing to cover issues important to Canadians, and Tara Henley explains, Why I quit the CBC in the National Post. We see this in other companies as a Former Global News employee Anita Krishna speaks out about COVID-19 narrative. Yet, Canada’s government is pouring money into the CBC as Liberals move to ‘modernize’ CBC, making public broadcaster less reliant on advertising, plus CBC salaries include 125 senior directors earning up to $186,000 each. Something is wrong with this picture when truths are not being reported!

It’s interesting how the Covid narrative disappeared almost overnight when Russia entered the Ukraine. Now the MSM narrative is “Putin is evil,” and it’s terrible what he’s doing in the Ukraine, but be wary of what you’re being shown and told by the MSM. Powerful deep narratives control us. We’re shown something one way, when there is usually something much deeper going on behind the scenes, intentionally hidden from us. There is a reason for everything media says and shows. There are many countries experiencing worse things than the Ukraine, but we’re not being told about them. We are only shown what they want us to see, and it’s often faked. We are only told what they want us to hear. Everything is designed to control and manipulate us. There are those who think I talk craziness, so consider this. MSM says Russia’s wild theories about secret bio-labs and ‘crisis actors’ in Ukraine are crafted to appeal to US conspiracists, experts say, yet the U.S. Confirms there are Biolabs In Ukraine. Listen to what Tucker Carlson says in the video The Pentagon is lying about biolabs in Ukraine. Only one of these narratives are true.

There are worse things occurring in the African country of Yemen, as opposed to the Ukraine. According to Countries Currently At War 2022, the Yemeni Civil War began in September 2014 and continues today. Saudi Arabia intervened in the conflict and there have been more than 140,000 fatalities since the start of the war, including nearly 20,000 in 2020 alone. A great number of these are children. According to 10 Countries Facing Humanitarian Crises in 2020, Venezuelans and 9 others need humanitarian assistance right now. Why aren’t we hearing about these on the MSM?

Why did Freeland’s office “pressure” legacy media to change critical stories? and why did Trudeau announce millions of dollars to attack news agencies he doesn’t like.? Are governments and the MSM trying to create a narrative to manipulate the masses? There is much evidence that what is shown on the daily news is faked. Don’t believe me. Also, observe the body bag on the left in this news clip MSM Fake News (body bags). This video is yet Another example of disinformation about the Ukraine War. We are only given what they want us to see.

Why would media do this? Some argue that the MSM, or television in general, puts people in a hypnotic state. According to How To Override Hypnosis In The Media :

Hypnosis is a state of mind in which you suspend your normal analytical thinking, and place yourself in an open, accepting frame of mind. In this state, you find it easier to accept ideas that you normally wouldn’t.

The article, How Hypnotists (and Mass Media) Hack Your Mind to Control Your Behavior says:

Those who regularly watch news on the television, which is well-known to rapidly induce alpha brain wave states in the viewer, bringing them into a hypnotic trance automatically, typically affecting the function of the frontal lobe within an astonishing 90 seconds, and bypassing critical thinking.

According to the article, How TV influences your mind through hypnosis:

Your mind slips into the hypnotic trance state within seconds of watching TV. This lowers your brainwaves to a lower ‘alpha state’ commonly associated with meditation and deep relaxation. This is believed to be caused by the screen flicker and explains why you feel sleepy while watching TV.

Is media hypnotizing its viewers? Was the Covid narrative for the past two years to keep its viewers in a hypnotic fearful state? Are they presently hypnotizing us to think of Russians as demons? People are catching on? Poll shows trust in media, government at all-time low. In another poll published in the National Post, it shows trust for Dr. Theresa Tam, Canada’s chief public health officer eroded either a little or a lot among 46 per cent of Canadians. And for provincial public health institutions, led by the chief medical officers, almost half of Canadians (49%) saying they had lost trust in them. Trust goes down the drain when authority figures mislead and lie (#bullying, #antibullying). Truth is prevailing!

This is Stupid

In the video Pilot Has A Message For Canadians, the pilot speaks of a “disaster averting, lifesaving phrase: ‘this is stupid’” used in the aviation world. He tells of a deadly aviation disaster involving two 747s. He says even though a first officer expressed concern, the disaster still happened because “of complacency, deferring to authority and not wanting to rock the boat by questioning.” The phrase “this is stupid” or “this is dangerous” would have awoke the pilot of danger. He goes on to say that our government presently “has their throttle jammed full forward in a race for totalitarian control,” and the “voice inside you is saying ‘this is stupid,‘ ‘this is dangerous,’ and ‘this is wrong.’” He says, “your voice is useless if you stay silent,” so “you have to summon the courage to say no.” Since 2020, I’ve been saying “something is wrong.” The truth is, Canada and the world are at a critical point. DO WE WANT TO LIVE IN A FREE WORLD OR NOT?

Trudeau has never bothered to speak to the protestors. Instead, he declared an emergency while still debating the Emergencies Act in Parliament. In fact, the House of Commons suspends debate on Emergencies Act ahead of police operation against Freedom Convoy. This act has not received approval of the Canadian Senate or Royal Assent. On February 13, a MSM’s New York Post headline said, Canada PM Justin Trudeau slammed for invoking emergency powers to stop protests.

Multiple Canadian premiers oppose Trudeau invoking Emergencies Act. Trudeau is condemned around the world for moving to crush protests. Some headlines were blunt as in Trudeau Invokes the Emergencies Act (aka Martial Law) in Canada … For a Bunch of Truckers. Independent media says Trudeau is marching Canada down a dark path. Billionaire, Elon Musk draws ire for comparing Trudeau to Hitler. An editorial piece in the NY Times called out Trudeau for backing a protest by farmers in India that clogged major roads in New Delhi while attacking his own citizens for a peaceful protest that has blocked roads in Ottawa. American podcaster, Dan Bongino says “Canada’s Dictator Declares War On Freedom” (see Dan Bongino Show). This is a war on our freedoms. Declaring an emergency when there is no emergency is extreme bullying (#bullying, #antibullying).

Trudeau said when announcing this emergency:

We’re entering the third week of illegal blockades that have been disrupting the lives of too many Canadians. Here in our capital city, families and small businesses have been enduring illegal obstruction of their neighbourhoods. Occupying streets, harassing people, breaking the law: this is not a peaceful protest. At the borders in different places in the country, the blockades are harming our economy and endangering public safety.

Former Prime Minister Steven Harper said in 2005, “When a government start trying to cancel dissent or avoid dissent is when it’s rapidly losing its moral authority to govern.” Trudeau has lost the moral authority to govern.

When the blockade ended in Coutts, Alberta, protestors hugged police. Don’t believe me (#blogger #blog #somseason #YA #authors). Watch Coutts protest ends. The National Post’s Rex Murphy: Trudeau’s monumentally misguided emergency measures are an insult to Canadians says:

Here’s the mother of all questions for Trudeau and it is one that he cannot, and will never, answer: what was so difficult about having a talk with the leaders of a group of Canadians who found some of the government’s COVID regulations to be a grievous burden? When Black Lives Matter [a terrorist organization] flooded the streets, Trudeau not only met with them, he went into the streets and joined in on the their American-inspired protest. He gave them a knee and bowed his head. But he would not meet with the truckers. He would not talk to their representatives. There was certainly no kneeling.

Here is some history around this act. The Canadian Encyclopedia, says, when the First World War began (1914), the Canadian government passed the War Measures Act (WMA), giving the cabinet sweeping emergency powers. This Act gave the government full authority during wartime to censor and suppress communications; to arrest, detain and deport people without charges or trials; to control the economy; and to seize private property. Most controversial is the WMA enabled the government to intern “enemy aliens” on the suspicion they posed a threat to Canada’s safety. About 600 Italian Canadians and 800 German Canadians were interned during the war, along with Jewish refugees and Mennonites .

During the Second World War (1939), the WMA was again invoked resulting in approximately 22,000 Japanese Canadians on the West Coast being interned in remote areas of interior British Columbia. The WMA enabled the government to strip Japanese Canadians of their property and pressure them to accept mass deportation when the war ended. I led many classroom discussions about the Japanese Internment, and students typically felt it was a violation of Japanese Canadian’s civil liberties.

In 1970, the WMA was invoked because of the October Crisis. A state of “apprehended insurrection” was officially declared to exist in Quebec in October of 1970, as a response to two kidnappings by the terrorist group Front de Libération du Québec (FLQ). This emergency enabled police to conduct more than 3,000 searches without a warrant and detain 497 people. The suspension of civil liberties in Quebec was controversial. I remember as a kid being confused about the controversy as many Canadians were angered at their loss of civil liberties.

In 1988, the WMA was amended to the Emergencies Act. This act defines a national emergency as an urgent, temporary and critical situation that seriously endangers the health and safety of Canadians or that seriously threatens the ability of the Government of Canada to preserve the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Canada. When invoked, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms (Charter) continues to protect individual rights. The Government MUST respect constitutionally protected rights and freedoms (see Emergencies Act).

Canada’s Charter specifically says, “Everyone has the following fundamental freedoms: (a) freedom of conscience and religion; (b) freedom of thought, belief, opinion, and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication; (c) freedom of peaceful assembly; and (d) freedom of association.”

Most Canadians feel the use of Emergencies Act is illegal because a peaceful protest is no emergency. MSM’s National Post headlines, ‘Legal standard not met’: Two court challenges filed over Trudeau’s use of Emergencies Act. Ironically, Canada issued a harsh condemnation of the Cuban government’s sentencing of protesters who participated in anti-government rallies last July.

On February 18, in the once free country of Canada, Ottawa police arrest dozens of protesters, and start towing rigs, and Ottawa Police threaten media with arrest for covering enforcement against peaceful protesters. Independent Media, Rebel News journalist Alexa Lavoie attacked by Ottawa police. Watch how RCMP Trample Elderly Lady With Horses. Watch how police use force. The MSM’s National Post says This must be what Ottawa police meant by methods not usually seen in Canada. Look at the article’s disturbing pictures. Watch police damaging personal property in this video.

Watch the Fox News video: Tucker Carlson’s view of Ottawa events. What occurred is “state sanctioned violence.” CBC reports Emergencies Act directs financial institutions to freeze accounts linked to convoy protests. Trudeau gives BLM money while seizing the bank accounts of peaceful protesters. An Ottawa Bakery is facing threats and harassment over leaked convoy donation. Independent media reports that Ottawa may euthanize truckers’ pets as punishment. Trudeau’s justice minister, David Lametti says Trump supporters should be worried. Why? Trump merely endorsed the Truck Convoy.

Sadly, there are still Canadians who think this is about a virus. As an emotional Calgary police officer said after seeing what happened in Ottawa, “Canada has fallen.” This is about our government wanting totalitarian control over us. This is about the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset. Here is what Alberta’s premier said about the Great Reset.

Are we free when peaceful protestors are ignored, and arrested for demanding freedom, when bank accounts are being frozen for supporting freedom fighters, when threats to harm family pets are made, and businesses supporting freedom are harassed? If you think this is okay, you are NOT thinking for yourself. If you go to your heart, you know this is wrong; that this is stupid. You’d know this is a sad day for Canada.

I am still a proud Canadian, but I am ashamed of my government. Shame on a government who resorts to police action instead of peaceful dialogue with the protesters, and for the parliamentarians who voted to suspend parliament. I am ashamed of those enforcement officers conducting arrests in their riot gear and carrying automatic weapons. Shame on them for breaking the oath to serve and protect. I am ashamed of tow truck operators participating in this police action. Shame on you for wearing neon-green ski masks, with your companies’ decals taped over to conceal your identities. I am ashamed of the MSM. Shame on you for reporting a peaceful protest as a ‘nationwide insurrection” (see Business Insider).

This is NOT the country I grew up in. I no longer live in a free and democratic country. We are now living under a fascist dictatorship. That may make some uncomfortable, but that is because of cognitive dissonance. No matter what you believe, if you listen to your heart, you’d know this is stupid!

Something Astonishing is Happening

The Freedom Truck Convoy and protest happening in my country has captivated me (#blogger #blog #somseason #YA #authors). I can’t stop watching what is going on. I pondered why, and for the first time in over two years I feel proud to be Canadian again. I have read numerous posts and comments of fellow Canadians saying the same thing. Canadians are raising money in support of the truckers, presently over 10 million dollars. Despite what mainstream media (MSM) says, truckers are respectful. Canadians are showing their gratitude with food, gift cards, coffee, and greeting truckers enthusiastically when they drove by their cities and towns. See for yourself.

Historians and writers consider the Canadian victory at Vimy Ridge a defining moment for Canada. In April 1917, during the first World War (WWI), the Canadian Corps seized Vimy Ridge, a heavily-fortified seven-kilometre ridge in northern France which held a impressive view over the Allied lines. With this victory, Canada emerged from under the shadow of Britain, recognized as a country in its own right.

Once again, the world is recognizing Canadians. This time it is the Freedom Truck Convoy and their massive protest in Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. On January 26th, Justin Trudeau said this about the Freedom Convoy:

“The small fringe minority of people are on their way to Ottawa, who are holding unacceptable views that they’re expressing, do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other.”

Listen carefully to his words.

Ottawa Police report aprox 2.3 million people on foot and 130,000 trucks in the city. That is no “small fringe minority of people.” I heard one of the truckers speak at Saturday’s protest saying Canada has never been a unified country until now. Gathered in Ottawa are anglophones, francophones, people of all religions, many ethnic groups, vaccinated and unvaccinated all united to end EVERY government imposed restriction and to take back their rights and freedoms. Trudeau claims the truckers “do not represent the views of Canadians,“ a lie, as the vast majority of Canadians support the truckers. Poll shows majority of Canadians now want COVID restrictions to end. A Toronto Sun editorial says It’s time to end COVID rules in Canada. Much of the world is removing restrictions as MSM’s ABC News reports in, ‘Take back life’: More nations ease coronavirus restrictions. Even the WHO Warns Against Repeated Booster Shots and Vaccine Mandates: ‘It’s Over, People’. There is no need for mandates. MSM’s National Post says Mandatory vaccination a betrayal of what Canada stands for.

The National Post, part of MSM reported on January 29, Thousands pack Parliament Hill for protest, really millions according to Ottawa police. The same day there were trucker convoys and protests held at the various provincial legislatures and in Canadian cities, such as Edmonton trucker convoy turns into massive rally against mandates.

High profile Celebrities are supporting the Truckers for Freedom Convoy. Canadians unintentionally initiated a worldwide movement. The convoy is gaining international attention. Many countries were inspired by Canada to start their own convoys as reported in European and Australian truckers are joining the Freedom Convoy! and Truckers inspired by Canada begin ‘freedom’ convoys around the world. I have seen posts of convoys in Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Brazil, United Kingdom, US, Finland, Czech Republic, Australia to name a few. In 1917, the world was inspired by the Canadian WWI soldiers who fought for freedom, and now 105 years later, the world is once again inspired by Canadians fighting for freedoms. This site says Uprising: Truckers Freedom Convoy is a Beacon of Hope for the Entire World.

No surprise to me, MSM and politicians attempt to mislead the public. When the truck convoy for freedom began, Canada’s CBC said Truckers protest dangerous conditions on B.C. highways, a blatant lie. Canadians didn’t buy that, so the CBC reported that it was a protest against vaccine mandates for truck drivers as in this article, Ottawa police prepare as convoy protesting vaccine mandate heads to nation’s capital. This article insinuated that the truckers might damage infrastructure, become violent, and spew statements of hatred, xenophobia, and racism to those who disagree with them. Independent Media called them out on this lie saying They tried calling truckers racist and sexist. It didn’t work. So now they’re calling them violent. Even the MSM’s Toronto Sun says Media’s handling of trucker convoy one-sided, inflammatory, shameful. Thankfully, Media is being EXPOSED for misleading Canadians. This video clearly shows how the MSM manipulates the truth. So please reject Establishment Media Attempts To Demonize Canadian Truckers, an opinion piece by Spencer Fernando. The protestors have said from the beginning that it was a peaceful protest to demand that all pandemic-related measures end.

This protest is about freedom, and was from its inception. Protestors are demanding their civil and Charter rights be returned; rights such as the right to fully open their businesses, the right to keep their medical records private, the right to choose what medical treatments they receive, mobility rights returned—unvaccinated are forbidden to fly, and the right to be treated equally as guaranteed in the Charter of Rights and Freedom. Until recently, unvaccinated Canadians were discriminated against as Quebec health tax for unvaccinated residents prompts fierce Covid debate, but one example.

MSM and government leaders continue to spread lies and try to discredit the movement. Trudeau calls convoy truckers “tinfoil hats,” says he will not meet with organizers saying:

“Freedom of expression, assembly and association are cornerstones of democracy, but Nazi symbolism, racist imagery, and desecration of war memorials are not.”

Opposition members are calling Trudeau on his rhetoric as Conservative Party (CP) member, Pierre Poilievre, did in his response to Trudeau. Politicians are even calling out government lies. Poilievre calls former Liberal cabinet minister “a liar” for convoy tweet. Another CP member, Leslyn Lewis, at the Freedom Convoy: The people have been lied to, and they want answers. CP leader Erin O’Toole fired by his own caucus after not supporting the Freedom Convoy. Agitators wearing Nazi symbolism are typically paid (see Paid protestor). MSM continues to present the protestors negatively like CTV’s article, ‘Very concerning’: Professor worried about extremist views present during trucker protest. Why would the MSM do that? Simple answer, MSM has been paid off as shown in the article, The Toronto Star has prostituted itself to Justin Trudeau by accepting tax dollars from hardworking Canadian families. Trudeau even brags about doing so in this video.

Religious leaders tell us God’s spirit unites. Christian leaders would more likely say the Holy Spirit unites. Albert Einstein is considered to be one of the most brilliant scientists to have ever lived. He once wrote a powerful message of love to his son. In his letter, he tells his son;

There is an extremely powerful force that, so far, science has not found a formal explanation to. It is a force that includes and governs all others, and is even behind any phenomenon operating in the universe and has not yet be. This universal force is LOVE. When scientists looked for a unified theory of the universe they forgot the most powerful unseen force.

A Baha’i Perspective says “Love is the most powerful attractive force in the universe.”

What is happening is this spiritual force —love—that Einstein refers to is uniting Canadians and the world. This spirit of togetherness is uniting humanity, conquering fear, and inspiring people to take back their intrinsic rights and freedoms. Author Cat Bauer says, “Love is so powerful that it always wins. Truth is so powerful that it always wins. All it takes is Time.” That is what I think is happening. Love, truth—and I would also add hope—is beginning to win over the fear propaganda machine. Humans were created as sovereign beings, so love, hope and truth are now reminding humanity of that. Has the World Gone Insane?

English actor and comedian, John Cleese, once said, “The World is insane. With tiny spots of sanity, here and there… Not the other way around!” I (#blogger #blog #somseason #YA #authors) think he’s right. An online Dictionary defines insanity as “extreme foolishness or irrationality.” It was Albert Einstein who said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” We’re told that we are now in the 4th wave—some say fifth—of COVID driven by the Omicron variant. CTV News says ‘We are in for the long haul’: Canadians experience pandemic fatigue amid fourth wave. It’s more than fatigue; people are fed up considering an Australian man sets himself on fire to protest COVID restrictions.

In the National Post, Jordan Peterson wrote a piece, Open the damn country back up, before Canadians wreck something we can’t fix, describing how insane our world has gotten. He writes, “the country is growing more authoritarian in response to fear,” and “We are pushing the complex systems upon which we depend and which are miraculously effective and efficient in their often thankless operation to their breaking point.” World citizens are fed up demonstrated by Millions protested vaccine mandates, and the media barely mentioned it.

The CDC Director Admits Vaccines Don’t Prevent Transmission, and that Over 75% Of COVID Deaths In Vaccinated Had ‘At Least 4 Comorbidities’. The British gov’t admits efficacy of face masks is ‘not conclusive’. Nearly 15,000 Deaths, More than 700,000 Injuries Reported to VAERS Since December 2020 Rollout of COVID Vaccines in U.S. yet the CDC says vaccines are safe and effective. We’re told vaccines are the only way out of the alleged pandemic, and Ivermectin is unsafe, yet the WHO’s Own Website: Even When Taken In Animal Doses, Ivermectin “NOT Hazardous To Humans!” Canada’s top doctor, Theresa Tam, says there’s No data suggesting vaccine passports work. Most interesting is the Food and Drug Administration or FDA Now Wants 75 Years to Release Pfizer Vaccine Documents. What are they hiding? And why has the Trudeau Government Exempting Immigrants From Medical Testing. This much confusion can only be described as insane!

Global News reports on a January 2022 poll suggesting a slim majority of Canadians support the latest round of lockdowns and other government-imposed restrictions. It says 56% of respondents in the poll agreed governments are making the right decisions to limit the spread of Omicron and keep the health system from being overrun. The fact is, government restrictions failed to stop the spread of COVID, and many restrictions are ridiculous like Canada’s Top 10 worst and weirdest winter COVID restrictions.

What’s irrational is the lack of concern for the casualties of lockdowns and restrictions such as how Lockdowns killed more Canadians under 65 than COVID-19: Statscan. Very alarming is the 4 million cries for help: Calls to Kids Help Phone soar amid pandemic. Most insane is Washington State Elementary Students Are Eating Outside In 39-Degree Weather While Teachers Dine Indoors – For ‘Safety’ Even the New York Times Admits America Sacrificed Children’s Well-Being For Sake Of Adults’ Safety In The Name Of COVID-19, stating: [Some] have begun backtracking on previously held beliefs regarding COVID-19. From Jen Rubin admitting COVID-19 is not as deadly as it first appeared, to Dr. Anthony Fauci saying we’re ‘overcounting’ come cases…

The Toronto Sun has a opinion piece titled, As more people get mild Omicron, they’re questioning the need for restrictions. It states that “If we hadn’t been tested and knew it was Omicron, we would have thought it was just a cold.” It’s irrational, and all out insanity to ignore the damage caused by government-imposed restrictions. I haven’t even got into damage done to our economies.

Remember when ‘conspiracy theory’ people were laughed at for suggesting in 2020 and 2021 that a nationwide vaccine passport system was coming; a ‘conspiracy theory’ that became truth like the 7 COVID ‘Conspiracy Theories’ That Came True in 2021. As Brazilian lyricist, Paulo Coelho says, “If you want to control someone, all you have to do is to make them feel afraid.” The article, Inside the Omicron fear factory says, “Public health chiefs and the media are working overtime to gin up hysteria.” Yet Many Seem To Think The Loss Of Freedom Will Only Impact ‘Other People, according to Spencer Fernando who says:

Putting our faith in any one politician or party will only continue to perpetuate the cycle of hope & betrayal that comes with expecting people to be anything other than focused on using powerful centralized systems to further their own interests at our expense.

Maybe this is why our hypocritical political elites don’t appear to be afraid of the Omicron variant since hours after Alberta’s premier called for holiday restrictions, his political party holds Xmas party for hundreds, and Alberta’s top, Doctor Hinshaw will not ‘judge’ UCP for having Christmas party despite recommendations. Irrational behaviour was exposed when Alberta Health Services CEO was Caught Spreading Misinformation About ICU Bed Capacity.

Restrictions are causing major havoc on our planet. Jordan Peterson, who I mentioned earlier, clearly shows that in his article. He describes extensively his Christmas trip experience—not a good experience—discussing his frustrations due to staff shortages caused by job losses from mandatory vaccinations and COVID restrictions. It’s not just him saying it. The Counter Signal says Lockdown stresses linked to labour shortages which will be filled with immigrants. Kelowna airport temporary shut down of food, beverage service ‘unprecedented’ due to lack of staff. After Christmas our daughter flew back to Europe where she currently lives. She had difficulty finding food in Toronto International Airport as most food outlets were closed. Then there is the Mounting pressures: Alberta sees ambulance red alerts, hospital closures, and staff redeployments. Extreme foolishness on the part of government COVID policy is causing this staffing crisis.

As Albert Einstein said, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results,” and that is what our governments are doing. They continue to lock us down, force us to wear masks, isolate, and shove the vaccines. This is shown with Quebec announces a 3rd booster will be required for vaccine passport and Quebec to impose ‘significant’ financial penalty against people who refuse to get vaccinated. Trudeau plans on vaccinating Canadians 2 to 3 times every year, even as experts denounce his plan. Does he know something we don’t? All these actions, and still Omicron: Infections in Canada exceed total cases for all of 2020. If that isn’t insanity, I don’t know what is.

Canada’s leader endorses hatred towards the unvaccinated. In this video, he committed a hate crime (see Canada’s Criminal Code). He is a bully (#bullying, #antibullying). Canada’s Opposition shockingly silent on PM’s hatred of unvaccinated Canadians, according to Toronto Sun. Also, the UK media pummels Trudeau for rant against “racist, misogynist” unvaxxed. Spencer Fernando says Trudeau’s Dangerous & Dictatorial Rhetoric Is An Appeal To The Worst Aspects Of Human Nature. A New York academic slams Trudeau for dehumanizing the unvaccinated. A Jewish author calls Trudeau “unethical, immoral” and “evil” over comments on unvaccinated. I couldn’t agree more. The Counter Signal comments on The one group of people Canadians openly discriminate against: the unvaccinated. Insanity ensues when a country’s leader promotes hatred toward a group of its citizens.

The Federalist reports Canadian Ronald McDonald House Plans To Evict Unvaxxed in Vancouver revealing “everyone five years and older who are working, staying, or visiting our facilities must show proof of full vaccination.” Ronald McDonald House Charities is a nonprofit organization whose stated mission is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children. The family was staying in Ronald McDonald house while their 4-year-old son received treatment for leukemia. I know of a local family who were asked to leave their relative’s house when it was discovered they were unvaccinated. These things would never happen if leaders didn’t pit its citizens against one other by promoting hatred towards the unvaccinated. The most ridiculous headline I recently saw was the UK’s Daily Mail headline, Wearing a facemask makes you more attractive to the opposite sex, study finds. That folks is extreme foolishness! How can you be attracted to someone when you’re unable to see their face? That’s insanity. Try to convince me otherwise.

Speaking Truth to Power

Speaking truth to power is a non-violent political tactic, employed by dissidents against propaganda of governments that are regarded as oppressive or authoritarian. Walter Cronkite, an American anchorman for CBS News said, “In seeking truth you have to get both sides of a story.” That’s my motto. I (#blogger #blog #somseason #YA #authors) always told my high school students that “your opinion isn’t worth the paper it’s written on unless you back it up with evidence.” Preparing students for their argumentative essays in Social Studies, I emphasized the importance of presenting both points of view. I always try to write my blogs that way. Yet, it astonishes me how many people I talk to know nothing beyond the narrative presented on television.

I recently saw this in a post:

Why do people refuse to research anything, yet demand we spoon feed “proof?” Then you give them proof and they don’t even read it. They say, “well, that’s not a reliable news source,” or “that’s not a reliable doctor.” They always have an excuse why they stick to their talking points.

That has been my experience. People tell me I’m using unreliable sources, that it’s conspiracy, that I am wrong, or even that I am crazy. Some even infer—not in words—that I might be mentally unstable because my view differs from theirs, or because I differ from the narrative spewed on the TV. Yet, I have never had a single person ask me why I think the way I do. In 1800, Thomas Jefferson said, “I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend.” Yet, I have experienced numerous family and friends withdrawing from me because of my differing views.

Cognitive Dissonance is to blame. When presented with evidence that challenges a person’s core beliefs, their brains refuse to accept the new evidence. Cognitive Dissonance creates much distress for people, so many people have a need to protect their core beliefs, t0 rationalize, ignore, and deny anything that fails to support their core belief. Informed people MUST know all perspectives of a debate. American politician, Dudley Malone said, “I have never in my life learned anything from any man who agreed with me.” Nor have I. Corporal (Cpl.) Daniel Bulford is a specialized RCMP officer who, in November, left his position as the prime minister’s personal sniper detail after speaking out against the federal COVID-19 vaccine mandate, and now works for Mounties For Freedom. He presents a perspective that opposes the official narrative. The story, One of Trudeau’s bodyguards speaks out against COVID jab mandates, calls them ‘authoritarian,’ tells Cpl. Bulford’s story. In case the video is censored, you can watch it on Pandemic Debate: Corporal Daniel Bulford. Here is his perspective.

If you didn’t listen, here are some highlights. Cpl. Bulford emphasizes that “fundamental rights are NOT to be limited…even in a national emergency.” He said as Mounties “everything we do is guided by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.” Regarding the RCMP, Cpl. Bulford says they “work to prevent crime and enforce the law knowing the supreme law is the constitution…We are [there] to assist Canadians in emergency situations…In the context of the pandemic, I’ve seen us intimidate and arrest Canadians as opposed to assisting them.” He says, “Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to equal protection and equal benefit of the law.” He says he took an oath to keep Canadians safe and to protect their civil liberties. His most powerful statement was, “If others have NOT sought out both sides of the argument, it’s no wonder what they think and do…It is time to be strong in character. It will require sacrifice and preparation. The sacrifice will be the comfort and security that can be found in remaining silent.”

Dr. Julie Ponesse was a professor in the philosophy department at Ontario’s Huron University College and taught ethics for 20 years. Her workplace implemented mandatory vaccination policies, and when she refused to comply, she was fired. The article, Ont. professor on paid leave after refusing to get vaccine or wear a mask, tells her story. In case her talk is censored, here is her talk on Rumble: Why are so many choosing a life in a cage? Rumble. Listen to her view.

Here are some highlights. Dr. Julie Ponesse shows a picture of a lone German refusing to raise a stiff right arm among Hitler’s presence at a 1936 rally.

She then refers to a study revealing that only 10% of people are likely to be like the man in the picture, saying “our dominant world strategy is compliance.” I find that alarming. In another experiment, researchers used individuals to disrupt lineups. Only 1 in 25 spoke up, asking those disrupting to move to back of the line. The rest of the people were too lazy to be bothered, or too afraid of what others would say or do. She then discusses the atrocities happening in the name of COVID. She says, “In the history of mankind, there has never been a political elite sincerely concerned about the well-being of regular people. What makes any of us think it is different now? We have been instructed by our leaders to hate, divide, shame and dismiss, and we are excelling at these things superbly. This is what it now means to be a Canadian…Why is it so many are choosing life in a cage? We don’t need to comply and agree about everything to have a functioning democracy… A society in which we respect each other’s differences is a true democracy.”

Bulford and Ponesse are just two of many offering perspectives on COVID that differ from the TV narrative. How do we know what or who to believe? My answer is to ‘question everything’ and ‘follow your intuition.’ Doe Zantamata defines institution as:

“Intuition literally means learning from within. Most of us were not taught how to use this sense, but all of us know well that ‘gut’ feeling. Learn to trust your inner feeling and it will become stronger. Avoid going against your better judgment or getting talked into things that just don’t feel right.”

That is what I am talking about. Even Albert Einstein said, “I believe in intuition and inspiration… at times I feel certain I am right while not knowing the reason.”

As a teacher, I dealt with bullying (#bullying, #antibullying) among my students many times. I also saw bullying on television, in the movies, as well as from political leaders, I knew deep down within me that bullying is wrong. That is why I wrote my book, A Shattered New Start. From the very beginning of the COVID narrative, April of 2020, something deep within me said “something is wrong.” I’ve written many blogs explaining why.

Many claim God dwells within us. Growing up Christian, I was taught that God—or Yahweh, Allah, Universe, Creator; the name doesn’t matter—is in heaven, and if you follow the commandments and be good, you will go to heaven and be with God. This is where the image of God sitting on a throne in heaven comes from. Christianity calls this God within the ‘Holy Spirit.’ In Luke 17:21 of the Christian scriptures, Jesus was asked when the kingdom of God would come. His reply, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” Jesus is saying the kingdom of God resides within us. That is what I believe.

There is nothing wrong with listening to others, and getting their thoughts and ideas, but we do not need to rely on that. We have God’s Spirit within us, teaching us and guiding us. I rely on that spirit to determine truth. If it feels true, I trust that.

Energy institutive, Lee Harris, in his December energy update said:

“We’ve lost a lot of critical thinking in the last couple of years, or the ability to stand back and take a very balanced view to things that are going on. We’re encouraged to be in our emotional brain, our emotional reactions, to be in fear, or to worry about things.”

That is what I see. Most people are living in fear because of the propaganda. Psychology Today’s article, The Psychology of Truth: Feeling It, explains what ‘feeling truth’ is. I encourage you to read it and try the activities in it. The article says:

The deepest thing we know about truth is that we feel it. Our consciousness is key to our being able to learn, think about, and use what we feel is the truth.

I trust what I feel. If something feels wrong, I trust that. The COVID narrative has never felt right. What governments, health officials, and corporate media say has never resonated with me. It doesn’t feel like truth. That is why my truth may differ from yours. Most people appear to believe and do what they are being told. I don’t because I trust my gut.

The Next Thing to Fear

I (#blogger #blog #somseason #YA #authors) noticed since GOP26 that the mainstream media (MM), or the cooperate media, is ramping up the climate change narrative. I Googled ‘climate change news’ and got about 667,000,000 results. Here is a sampling of headlines that caught my attention. Canada’s CBC News says: Biden offers sympathies to people affected by B.C. floods, says Canada and U.S. in sync on climate change, and Big banks want to act on climate change — so what’s stopping them? The Guardian has a headline: The forgotten oil ads that told us climate change was nothing, and NPR News says: Climate change is making it harder to provide clean drinking water in farm country. Reuther’s has U.N. climate change report sounds ‘code red for humanity’, and CNN writes Senior Pentagon official warns the US military is ‘not ready’ for climate change. Then there’s The Globe and Mail’s, Morning Update: World to warm at least 2.4 C, climate analysis shows. The fear mongering MM continues its dissemination of fear with climate alarmism. Adolf Hitler once said, “Tell a lie loud enough and long enough and people will believe it.” Are we being lied to? Joseph Stalin allegedly said, “The press must grow day in and day out – it is our Party’s sharpest and most powerful weapon.”

The MM creates climate hysteria by insinuating that we have little time left to save the planet. There is even a Climate clock that says humanity has just under 8 years to save the planet. In 2018, The Washington Post claimed The world has just over a decade to get climate change under control, U.N. scientists say. The Guardian was more specific, saying We have 12 years to limit climate change catastrophe, warns UN. The BBC in 2019 created alarm with its headline, Climate change: 12 years to save the planet? Make that 18 months, as did the New York Times with the headline, Democrats Have a Year to Save the Planet. Causes climate alarmism is emotional bullying–when we’re made to feel afraid) (#bullying, #antibullying).

Authors like Bill McGuire, in his 2008 book claimed we have Seven Years to Save the Planet: The Questions and Answers, yet in 2019 ‘Uninhabitable Earth’ author said Humans Have 30 Years To Stave Off Climate Catastrophe. NRDC, (Natural Resources Defense Council), founded by a group of law students and attorneys, asserts Climate Scientists to World: We Have Only 20 Years Before There’s No Turning Back. American politicians like “John Kerry says Earth has 9 years to avert the worst consequences of climate crisis: “There’s no faking it on this one” . So, how long does the planet have? There doesn’t seem to be agreement, yet MM and our political leaders encourage climate hysteria. My question is why? The Epoch Times answers that question saying Net-Zero Policies: Taking From the Poor and Giving to the Rich. It’s always about the money!

Now let’s set the record straight. I am not saying I don’t believe in climate change. Climate change is happening, but it is a question of whether global warming is due to natural fluctuations or due to human activities? That is the debate. The MM and our political leaders want you to believe it is due to human activities. Britannica’s procon.org lists the arguments for this debate. I used to teach about climate change, and show my students the movie, An Inconvenient Truth. This is a documentary in which Al Gore describes the problems of climate change. The truth is, I don’t know if global warming is due to natural fluctuations or if it is due to human activities. I would need to do a lot more research. The more I learn, though, the more I realize I don’t know, and the more confused I become. Euripides, a Greek writer said in the 400s BC, “Question everything. Learn something. Answer nothing.” That is where I am at. In fact, American psychiatrist, M. Scott Peck, says, “The path to holiness lies through questioning everything,” so I am a truth seeker who is on the path to holiness.

Like the COVID narrative that we have been hearing about for almost 2 years, I am noticing more and more doom-laden headlines and articles, and some are just plain absurd. Nancy Pelosi said at the GOP26 climate summit that “Eighty percent of people displaced by climate change globally are women.” Does that mean climate change affects mainly women? The Independent article, How long to save the planet from climate catastrophe? This clock is ticking down states the clock reveals little time left to tackle the climate crisis before the planet is past a tipping point, specifically saying 7 years, 98 days, 15 hours… and counting. Can anyone predict that precisely when we are allegedly doomed? I doubt it. Another article claims Climate change may increase congenital heart defects. How could they possibly blame the most common birth defect on climate change? I know from teaching biology that there are many variables that can cause birth defects. One of my favourites is the Smithsonian magazine article: Could Climate Change Mean Less Sex and Fewer Babies? It seems climate change may affect our sex lives. Countless variables can affect sex lives. The most ridiculous article I’ve seen so far is the one titled: B.C. doctor diagnoses patient with ‘climate change’ You can’t make this stuff up. An emergency doctor at Kootenay Lake Hospital in British Columbia, Canada, attributed a patient’s illness to climate change. No one, including doctors, can make such a comprehensive claim.

Even some of the MM is questioning the climate change narrative as in the Sun’s Douglas Murray (UK edition) opinion piece COP26’s a vanity project for the global elite and eco-alarmist kids who’ve never paid a tax bill, calling it a “yawnathon green gabfest.” Many claim climate alarmism is another way to keep the masses fearful, like Conrad Black: Unfettered climate alarmism on full display at COP26 — National Post, also part of MM and Doomsday climate change predictions promote fear and anxiety. Some believe The CBC has become a woke climate alarmist rag, and some are even Debunking the climate hysteria from the United Nations with Tom Harris. American cognitive scientist, Noam Chomsky says, “The more you can increase fear of drugs and crime, welfare mothers, immigrants and aliens, the more you control all the people.” Now we can add fear of climate to his list, and let’s not forget fear of COVID.

Canada’s prime minister is a climate alarmist as shown in the article, Trudeau’s climate advisor says climate action not “going fast enough”. Calgary City Council officially declares ‘CLIMATE EMERGENCY’ in the city, implying Canada has a climate crisis. MM’s Globe and Mail alarms people with After a year of disasters, it’s urgent that we address Canada’s climate-caused water crisis. Independent Media, True North News, argues Canada does not have a climate crisis. I find it interesting that MM promotes climate hysteria while independent news refutes it. At least those looking at independent media get another side of the narrative.

Conrad Black said in the National Post that Unfettered climate alarmism on full display at COP26. I would to have agree since the hypocritical world’s leaders who attended it partied on Fuel-guzzling cruise ship hosts 3,000 global leaders at COP26, Glasgow locals, attendees complained of COP26 delegates leaving their cars idling, and Over 400 Private Jets Flew to Glasgow to “Save the Climate,” with leaders defending their flights. The 120 saviours of the planet (world leaders) are hypocrites who put on a show. The Epoch Times says COP 26: It’s Time for the Make-Believe to Stop and Andrew Lawton of True North News calls the conference a COP26 cop-out. Conrad Black in the MM’s, National Post, talks about The ghastly charade in Glasgow and the West’s self-flagellation over the climate writing “Glasgow was as inconsequential as the Paris, Copenhagen and Kyoto conferences that preceded it,” and “a colossal scam most of the climate fear campaign is.” It is difficult for me to become alarmed by climate change when our leaders don’t take it seriously.

The New York Times’s recent headline Vancouver Is Marooned by Flooding and Besieged Again by Climate Change , like most MM, creates climate alarmism. I find it interesting that the Vancouver Sun in its 2016 article This Week In History: 1913 — Series of storms dump a biblical amount of rain, sleet and snow on U.S. and its 2021 article This Week in History: 1894 & 1948 The Fraser Valley is inundated in a great flood admits that major flooding in BC is nothing new, since massive floods have occurred as far back as 1894, probably even before that. These historic floods occurred during times when climate change and global warming were unknown terms. Here is a video of the 1948 great flood with images that look remarkably like the images media shows today.

I once was alarmed because of the global warming and climate change narrative, even teaching my students about the urgency to make changes. Now, since it’s namely the MM corporate media promoting climate hysteria, I am reconsidering my views. As Euripides said, “Question everything.” That is what I am doing. Just because the MM said it, doesn’t mean it is truth. I will do my own thinking and research on the topic.

Government of the People, by the People, for the People

The words in the title were spoken by the 16th US president, Abraham Lincoln , during the Gettysburg Address where he honoured soldiers who sacrificed their lives. Lincoln said these sacrifices were in order “that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” These words apply to all soldiers that died for freedom and democracy.

Growing up, I (#blogger #blog #somseason #YA #authors) heard my dad say many times, “politicians are crooks.” I never really understood what he meant until later when I would see politicians make promises during election campaigns and then break them when elected, making most politicians liars. Ironically, the Guardian has a 19-year-old article titled, Politicians are ‘crooks and liars’ says BBC research. I see government corruption being revealed daily. Now I understand my dad’s words.

Constitutions are important documents which dictate how we are governed. I admire the US constitution because it begins with “We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union…” suggesting their constitution is ‘of the people, by the people, for the people.’ For Canada, that is not the case. The people are virtually absent from the Canadian Constitution, as it opens with a formal “Whereas the provinces have expressed the desire to be federally united into one Dominion” (see BNA Act).

Canada’s constitution isn’t working and this is likely true for many countries. This is obvious by how hypocritical, corrupt and untrustworthy governments are, especially Canada’s government. I’m not the only one saying so. One in six Canadians don’t trust information from the government and Nearly half of Canadians want political system completely reformed: Pew Research. Yet mainstream media, or MM, like CTV News claim Unlike U.S. neighbours, most Canadians content with state of their democracy: survey and the National Post who assert Canadians love their democracy (but hate their politicians). With no faith in MM, I take these Legacy Media articles with a ‘grain of salt.’ Canada’s democracy needs fixing.

Let’s start with Canada’s prime minister (PM). The article, Is Justin Trudeau Placing Democracy On Permanent Vacation? reports that our PM is impeding democracy by delaying parliament. The Toronto Sun published a commentary saying, “By the time MPs return it will have been six months since Canada’s Parliament last met.” How is this democracy?

In the video, Have we learned nothing from history? Ezra Lavant gives his thoughts on some of recent political manoeuvres made to seize greater control over Canada’s parliament. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said; “Freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed.” When discrimination and segregation of Canadians is endorsed by governments, we’re being oppressed. When inalienable human rights are taken away by governments, we’re being oppressed. This is government bullying (#bullying, #antibullying), or shall I say tyranny.

Canada’s democracy is broken, and the article: Is A Canada Where Public Opinion Has No Meaning A True Democracy? outlines many reasons why. As long as politicians are forced to vote along political party lines, and no free votes are allowed, our democracy is not a true democracy. We live with the illusion it is. The Toronto Sun’s commentary talks about The uninspiring sameness of Canada’s political parties, which means we think we have choices, but really we don’t.

In Canada, the federal government makes equalization payments to provincial governments to help address fiscal disparities among Canadian provinces. My province, Alberta, has always felt this equalization program is unfair, especially when Alberta’s economy has suffered in recent years, yet we receive nothing. In fact, Majority of Canadians believe equalization is unfair to Alberta: poll, and 66% of Canadians think equalization unfairly disadvantages Alberta. A referendum was held in October on this topic and 61.7% of Alberta referendum voters opt to remove equalization from constitution. Yet, Trudeau slams Alberta Premier Jason Kenney for his ‘incredibly political’ referendum on equalization and Quebec’s Bloc Québécois leader scoffs at Alberta’s equalization referendum. Even MM’s National post has the opinion that Jason Kenney’s equalization referendum shows Canada doesn’t work. I couldn’t agree more. Our constitutional system is flawed.

Alberta’s Premier called Trudeau and Guilbeault, “radical green left” hypocrite, out for “gross hypocrisy” after they repeatedly shut down efforts to shift towards nuclear energy – a safe alternative to fossil fuels identified by experts around the world. CTV News says ‘Stop kicking us while we’re down’: Alberta premier has harsh words for politicians who say oil industry is dead. If the Canadian federation worked the way it was intended, the PM and all provinces would work together for the benefit of all Canadians. I wonder if Trudeau even knew that Foreign Interests spent billions to wage war against Alberta’s oil industry. The Canadian federation is broken.

In Canada, to run for political office, you must be a Canadian citizen and be at least 18 years old on election day. Yet, many potential candidates are rejected by political parties, as the articles, Disqualified Conservative Yukon candidate Jonas Smith to run as independent and Conservative pundit Aaron Gunn barred from running for BC Liberal leadership reveal. Even those accepted by a political party are tossed out when they speak freely as in Former CPC candidate for Yukon goes indie after dismissal for COVID passport views. How can you call this democracy when free thinking is forbidden?

Then there is the hypocrisy of politicians. The National Post’s article, Trudeau’s Tofino romp exposed him as a hypocrite in the eyes of the public, questions Trudeau’s credibility after he proclaimed a National Day of Truth and Reconciliation which is a day for reflection on how the Indigenous people were treated. Trudeau vacationed on that day, instead of participating in ceremonies, which is hypocrisy at its finest. Even the people who protect the PM are threatening to quit as Trudeau’s sniper detail blasts PM over vaccine mandate, saying they no longer wish to protect a tyrannical leader. Even though Canada had an election in September, this explains why letters in the Calgary Sun say it’s ‘Time to take Trudeau to the polls again’. Our PM is no leader, he is a hypocrite! As Suneeta Pandey says, “A good leader will unite and lead, a bad leader will divide and rule.”

Canada’s government refuses to raise Canadian flag so it can be lowered for Remembrance Day. Most Canadians have long forgotten why flags are at half-mast. At federal buildings in Canada, our flag has been flying at half-mast since May 30 when Trudeau issued the order after unmarked graves were found on former residential school sites. Remembrance Day tradition dictates that flags ceremonially be lowered to half-mast. The PM wants Canadians to believe he cares about Indigenous people, but clearly he doesn’t when Trudeau files last-ditch appeal against billions for Indigenous children, after a tribunal ordered the Canadian government to pay compensation to indigenous children who suffered discrimination in welfare system.

Then there’s the hypocrisy of the world’s leaders attending COP26, a Climate Change conference in Glasgow, Scotland. The world’s leaders partied on Fuel-guzzling cruise ship hosts 3,000 global leaders at COP26 and Over 400 Private Jets Flew to Glasgow to “Save the Climate,” yet these leaders defended their flights. Then we hear of Glasgow locals, attendees complaining of COP26 delegates leaving their cars idling. It is obvious to me that the 120 world leaders portraying themselves as the planet’s saviours are hypocrites. This “show” costs Canadians financially as Canada sent most delegates to COP26 out of G7 nations and Liberals won’t reveal cost of 300 officials and aides attending COP26. Plus, leaders are not talking about the world’s pressing issues, such as struggling economies, unemployment, or the alleged pandemic. Instead, World leaders fear-monger over climate change while ignoring the real issues. Watch some world leaders at COP26 remove their masks after a photo (COP26 hypocrites). On a side note, a Former Canadian provincial premier calls out the world’s leaders for COVID tyranny, saying ‘End Game’ Is A Global ‘Reset’.

New Zealand’s Prime Minister admits she is creating a two-tier society between vaccinated and unvaccinated revealed in COVID Tyrant: Yes We Want a Two-Class System. The article, Big Pharma payola scandal erupts in Australia, takes down six corrupt officials and Australian Premier Berejiklian reports that Australian premier and staff members of New South Wales, resigned in shame over their involvement in a massive Covid-19 bribery scheme. Watch the video, NZ PM ends her press conference, where New Zealand’s leader walks out on a news conference when asked an unapproved question from an Independent News agency. I ask you: Does this sound like governments are of the People, by the People, for the People?

Former US president Ronald Reagan once said, “Government is not the solution to our problem. Government is the problem.” I agree totally. When citizens are afraid of their governments, as many are today, governments are bullying. “People shouldn’t be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people,” Alan Moore proclaims. Human Rights First Canada says, “Tyrants are not the problem. People obeying tyrants; that’s the problem.” Exactly! “When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.” a quote by Thomas Jefferson. People obeying tyrants is why Canada is no longer free. I know that makes some uncomfortable, but as Friedrich Nietzsche said, “Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed.”
